In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (17 U.S.C. § 512) (“DMCA”), White Colon will respond expeditiously to notices of alleged copyright infringement that are properly reported to our designated Copyright Agent.
1. Fair Use & Educational Content Notice
White Colon is an independent technology blog that provides instructional guides, troubleshooting tutorials, and smartphone tips.
- We frequently use custom screenshots of mobile operating systems (Android, iOS, MIUI, One UI, OxygenOS, etc.), application user interfaces, and brand names solely for educational, instructional, and news-reporting purposes under the Fair Use doctrine.
- All trademarks, brand logos, product images, and software interface designs belong to their respective copyright owners (e.g., Google, Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Realme, etc.).
- White Colon is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any smartphone manufacturer or software developer.
2. Notice of Copyright Infringement (Takedown Request)
If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe in good faith that any content, image, or material hosted on White Colon infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA notice to our designated agent containing the following information:
- Identification of Copyrighted Work: A description or link to the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of Infringing Material: The exact URL(s) on White Colon where the alleged infringing material is located, so we can identify and remove it.
- Your Contact Information: Your full legal name, company name (if applicable), mailing address, phone number, and direct email address.
- Good Faith Statement: A statement stating that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy Statement: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

3. How to Submit Your Takedown Request

4. Takedown Process & Counter-Notification
Upon receipt of a valid and complete DMCA notice, White Colon will:
- Review the claim and immediately remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content within 24 to 48 business hours.
- Notify the content provider or author who uploaded the material regarding the takedown.
If you believe that your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written Counter-Notification containing your contact details, the URL of the removed material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with DMCA guidelines, White Colon maintains a strict policy to terminate access or author privileges for any user or contributor determined to be a repeat infringer of intellectual property rights.
